Hip X-Rays for a 1-Year-Old?
Charlie had his one year doctor’s appointment on Friday. I was expecting him to get his weight and height percentages, chickenpox vaccine, measles vaccine and tuberculosis test (under the skin). All of those things happened as expected. Charlie is in the 50th percentile for weight at 21 lbs, 5 ozs. He is in the 90th percentile for height at 31 inches long. Neil Smith, from the “LB” shared with us the fact that he considers himself to be “ridiculously good looking” as he pulled his shirt up to show off his abs. I’ve seen better, Neil. Get over yourself…

The Art of Stepmothering
I tend to think of stepmothering as an art I have yet to master. There are so many fine lines I’m not supposed to cross, don’t feel comfortable crossing…

Wipeout - July 1, 2008
This week’s episode of ABC’s Wipeout was once again a fun-filled bag of laughs with plenty of lame contestants and hilarious commentary by comedian John Henson. One of my favorite lines of the night…
