Family-friendly Sunday breakfast buffet: Souplantation

Posted August 17th, 2008 by Melinda

It has been a while since we have gone out to eat and it was Sunday.  So, I figured we should try a Sunday brunch.  Normally, one would not think of Souplantation as a place for breakfast, but, let me tell ya…it was fun-amenol!  There were healthy veggies and fruits, as well as cereal, assorted yogurt, oatmeal, and just about anything you can think of for breakfast.  I had yogurt with fresh banana slices, for starters.  In the hot foods section, there were a few of their typical soups, in addition to potatoes o’brien, scrambled eggs, zuchinni fritatta, and a light mediterranean pasta dish that was deliciously prepared with fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil.  Jake surprised me by having a bowl of that pasta and asking for more.  I tried a slice of their belgian waffle and a potato and sausage omelette: both yummy!  Not only did Souplantation have a great selection of tasty food choices, it was also very family-friendly and appropriately-priced.  So, next time you want a break from the standard breakfast buffet places, try Souplantation’s Sunday breakfast.  You won’t be disappointed.
