That One “Perfect” Mommy

Posted July 22nd, 2008 by Sophia

We all know her. She runs a full-time business out of her home while she home schools her children. She can afford any luxury because she only buys groceries with…

Here’s my question: If you are 93-years-old (male or female), alone and in need of some “attention”, what are your options? It’s not a sexy thought, I agree. But still, people have needs. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean…

Pre-Baby Life vs. Mommy Life

Posted July 17th, 2008 by Sophia

During my entire 20’s and early 30’s, I spent much of my spare time going to the movies, hanging out with friends, going to happy hour, reading books, etc. Every weekend, I would…

Jake says his first sentence!

Posted July 16th, 2008 by Melinda

Every new milestone that you reach with baby is so exciting, especially if you have a child with developmental delays. When Jake was 15 months old, he was diagnosed with craniosynostosis. You’re probably thinking the same thing I was..cranio-what?! It’s a condition where the bones in his skull start to fuse to [...]

Wipeout - July 15, 2008

Posted July 16th, 2008 by Sophia

ABC’s Wipeout started out this week with Bryan “Spaz” Sayas. He was wearing a purple sweatsuit and John Henson couldn’t help but crack “purple dinosaur” jokes. ;-) Bryan almost made it across the Sucker Punch wall…which was pretty impressive. But, then he fell at the last minute. So, it didn’t count. Sorry Spaz…

Posted July 14th, 2008 by Anna

Don’t you think our heads are a bit small for our bodies?  Antonio snapped this photo of me reading the ZooNooz magazine with Tommy.  I thought it was cute how our heads and the lorises heads matched up.
Also, until I typed this out, I never noticed how ZooNooz is a palindrome.  In fact, I never [...]
