That One “Perfect” Mommy
We all know her. She can juggle three kids in her arms while cooking a fully organic meal (with food she grew in her garden) and sewing every outfit her children wear from organic cotton she grew and picked herself. She runs a full-time business out of her home while she home schools her children. She can afford any luxury because she only buys groceries with the coupons she clipped and stored by name in her coupon wallet (and she has rich, loving parents). She never gains weight because she’s “naturally thin” and she doesn’t crave “fattening food”. She never loses her temper or seems overwhelmed. She never misplaces her keys or locks herself out of the house. She is also the perfect wife, doting on her husband’s needs - not in an annoyingly sweet way, but in a sincere, “I really love you, honey” way. Her teeth are always brilliantly white because she never misses a dentist appointment. She has an AWESOME family and they all get along BRILLIANTLY (no…I’m not British…I just like that word). Her sister and mother are her best friends. She lives in a house that never looks messy. She’s never behind on the laundry because she has a “system that has worked for years.”
Meanwhile, here’s me:
