93-Year-Old Arrested for Soliciting Prostitute
Have you heard about the 93-year-old man arrested for soliciting a prostitute (http://www.theledger.com)?
Here’s my question: If you are 93-years-old (male or female), alone and in need of some “attention”, what are your options? It’s not a sexy thought, I agree. But still, people have needs. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean you suddenly lose interest in these things. Of course, this question applies to anyone alone and in need, not just the elderly. But if you’re young enough, you can go out with friends, go to a bar, go to a club, etc.
When you’re old, where can you go? Well, apparently there are some options out there. In fact, there is a rise in sexually transmitted diseases in older men and women. Some articles propose it’s because of an increase in divorce (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health…). Other articles suggest it’s because of Viagra (http://astrology.yahoo.com/channel/health…). I imagine there are plenty of things going on in nursing homes.
And yet, I’m starting to wonder why I’m writing about this at all. It’s not a particularly fun thought. But, there it is.

Bravo for this dude! I hope that when I’m 93, I’m still interested in getting some.
And who could blame him for trying to solicit a prostitute? It’s not like there are that many 93 year old ladies out there who would be willing to have sex with him. And even if there were, who’d want to have sex with a 93 year old woman? And a young, attractive woman certainly isn’t going to do a 93 year old man for free. So what other options are there?
Frankly, I would feel kind of bad for the prostitute. If I were a ‘ho, I would definitely charge more for a 93 year old man than I would any other john.
I’m definitely in favor of legalized prostitution. I’d much rather have those old farts giving their social security money to the “working girls” than putting in in the slot machines at Barona.
