Kids Say the Darndest Things

The other day, Savannah (my 7-year-old stepdaughter) explained to me why pregnant women are so hungry all the time:

“The baby eats all the food the mommy eats because he doesn’t want to be sitting next to a bunch of poop. Because when you eat it turns into poop and then the baby would have to be right next to the poop.” :-)

I got a good laugh out of this…

I think she recently started studying the digestive system. ;-)
