Road rage

Posted June 27th, 2008 by Anna

I have road rage!  I’m  not talking about arms waving, angry gesturing, obscenity spouting, pull our cars over to the side of the road and beat you to a pulp kind of rage.  My rage is a milder, gentler, keep-it-all-inside while moving over by 2 lanes to pass your swerving car safely kind of rage.  Oh, and don’t think I didn’t get a good look at you while I passed your car.  Yes, you!  The dumb looking guy in a white Prius.  I saw you texting and giggling in there.  What text message could be so important that you’re willing to risk your life and my own to reply?   I just hope that when you do crash you car, you’ll pick a nice tree to crash into and not another car.   Jerk.

Same goes to you two racing idiots, who think they look oh so cool in their little souped up Honda Civics.  Oh yes, your neon lighted undercarriage and the shopping cart handle spoiler makes me all hot and bothered.  Give me a break!  I don’t want to be stuck in traffic because your stupidity resulted in a crash.  I don’t want to see your brains splattered on the concrete.  Just do us all a favor and go straight to Jail.  Do not pass Go.  Do not collect $200.

And now, to the hubcap that came flying out at me out of nowhere.  Thank you for being made out of plastic and not destroying my font bumper.  Instead you disintegrated into a hundred little pieces on impact, like the good little hubcap that you were.  You nearly scared me to death, but I feel much better now that I know there was no serious damage to my car.

I’ve had a rough morning.  I need a nap.

I completely agree, Anna. There’s nothing worse than starting your Monday morning with crazy drivers on the road!
